There is a memorial to Sir John Snow in Broadwick Street, in the form of a water pump with the pumping handle removed. John Snow was the first medical person to unequivicolly connect impure water with the passing on of cholera and other water-borne diseases.
Broadwick Street is a wide thouroughfare and makes a pleasant route from Wardour Street through to Carnaby Street.
