Unique Photographs of Soho and Central London
Dean Street
Dean Street, Soho is home to the very rich and the very poor.
For many years the homeless hostel at 91-92 Dean Street has catered for the homeless of Central London. In contrast at 45 Dean Street is the exclusive Groucho Club frequented by the artistic elite and the wealthy.
A fascinating coming together of these two worlds occured on a wild night in December 2007 when the comedian Alan Davies bit the ear of a homeless man who was begging out side the Groucho Club in Dean Street. Alan Davies apparently wasn't that hungry...... just drunk!
Other famous restaurants and businesses in Dean Street include Quo Vadis, Sunset Strip, The Crown and Two Chairmen, Zilli, The French House, and The Soho Theatre.
